Variohood fume extraction hoods
The KEMPER Variohood is the truly effective fume extraction hood!

Many extraction hoods seen in industry are rather modest in design — not only structurally but also in their suction capacity. A well-functioning extraction hood differs significantly from the common image of, say, a kitchen stove hood in a countryside cottage.
When properly designed, an extraction hood is one of the most efficient solutions for fume extraction. As a bonus, you get UV protection for the environment and often surprisingly good sound insulation. If you are planning a robotic or other welding cell, or any other fume-producing equipment, and there are no obstacles to using a hood, it’s worth considering a high-performance fume extraction solution early on.
The KEMPER Variohood product range covers individual hoods from small sizes (900 x 1350 mm) up to large ones (1800 x 2700 mm). All models come with ready-made dimensioning for the required suction power and can be equipped with various edge curtains or lamellas as needed. UV protection is a given in welding applications, and there is a wide selection of curtain colors. Curtains and edge lamellas can be combined and customized in different colors and lengths to suit the hood’s current requirements.
The hood can be hung from loops at the top corners — for example, with chains to the ceiling — or mounted on support legs. A wide range of mounting solutions is available depending on your needs.

Larger areas are covered by assembling a unit made of differently sized hoods according to the need. This also allows control of the suction between the hoods with various solutions. In most cases, LED lighting is installed in the hoods. Even though a robot can work in the dark, maintenance still requires light.
Don’t let emotions take over — a functional and proven solution is always the most cost-effective!
