The most significant occupational risks in metal grinding are associated with fine particulate dust, which can contain metals released from the workpiece and abrasive material particles. For example, when grinding stainless steel, the dust may contain iron, chromium, and nickel\u2014all of which, when inhaled, can be toxic to your body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the most effective ways to reduce the risks and exposure caused by grinding is to ensure a proper grinding station and efficient local extraction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>We provide the right solutions for this!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Kemper HP Grinding tables<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>There is one base model of the grinding table, available in four different versions with widths of 1000 \/ 1300 \/ 1500 \/ 2000 mm \u2014 so you can choose the size that best fits your needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignright size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/airwell.fi\/wp-content\/uploads\/WhatsApp-Image-2022-03-29-at-13.57.25-279x300.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Kemper HP1500<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>All width versions share the same functional features:<br>\u2013 They effectively attenuate the most painful frequency range of grinding noise<br>\u2013 Offer top-class dust extraction and spark suppression<br>\u2013 Provide excellent working ergonomics<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The robust steel construction enables handling of very heavy components without any risk of the table tipping over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The top and both side panels can be opened when needed, allowing easy handling of differently sized workpieces, including the use of an overhead crane for loading directly onto the table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The sheet metal, mineral wool, and perforated panel structure inside the side walls allow for rough handling without risk of mechanical damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All models have a large-diameter extraction outlet located at the rear top side, ensuring even high airflows are managed without annoying whistling noises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Grinding tables are customized at our factory according to each customer\u2019s specific needs<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The most common accessories include electrical kits:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Power sockets<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>LED lighting<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Switches for controlling lights and extraction units<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, we can supply the grinding table with various surface materials, such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Standard metal grating<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rubber-coated grating<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wooden or plywood gratings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Plastic surfaces, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If easy rotation of workpieces is important, you can also opt for a rotating plate with a foot brake, or a quick-release vise mount.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We also offer various transport base options \u2014 for example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Tables that can be moved with pallet jacks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tables permanently mounted together with a filtering extraction unit, allowing you to move both at once with a forklift<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/airwell.fi\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_20220406_130433-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" style=\"width:312px;height:auto\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">HP1300 Roof and sides are open<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>A popular, simple, and highly effective workspace setup can be achieved by arranging four tables in a square and placing a <strong>KEMPER <\/strong>extraction unit in the center. In this configuration, for example, the light switch or a usage-sensing power socket on one of the tables can trigger the extraction automation\u2014opening the extraction damper and prompting the inverter-controlled fan to automatically adjust suction power based on demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This setup not only improves energy efficiency, but also contributes to better indoor air quality and lower noise levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignright size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/airwell.fi\/wp-content\/uploads\/hp-ja-lamellivrh-net-e1650968171719-193x300.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Sanding tables insulated with lamella curtains<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The grinding cell can be easily separated from the rest of the space using KEMPER lamella curtains. The main advantage of these curtains is that they allow unobstructed passage. While effectively containing noise and dust, they still function as a &#8220;wall&#8221; that minimally interferes with movement and workflow. The color and UV protection rating of the lamella material can be chosen from a wide range of options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We offer a large selection of lamella curtain materials and mounting components as ready-to-use kits. Don\u2019t hesitate to reach out before trying to figure it all out on your own \u2014 we likely have exactly what you need!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although we often refer to these as grinding tables, perhaps a better term would be &#8220;multi-purpose workstations.&#8221; Naturally, the tables are used for a wide range of everyday tasks \u2014 it\u2019s common to see welding, drilling, threading, painting, assembly, and much more done on them. It&#8217;s no surprise that the optimal working height, good lighting, and strong extraction capabilities encourage workers to use the tables for a variety of purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Important safety note<\/strong>: If solvent-based substances are used frequently, they pose a flammability risk and require ATEX-rated extraction systems.
